Victor Galea

 Mr. Galea limits his practice to representing clients
with cases before the Social Security Administration,
including appeals to the federal courts. He worked as
an attorney advisor, senior attorney, and supervisory
attorney advisor for the Social Security Office of
Disability Adjudication and Review for 11 years
before leaving the government to represent clients
with such claims for the last 14 years.

 In addition to the usual disability cases, Mr. Galea's
experience allows him to understand many of the
technical issues that do not come before most Social
Security attorneys, such as disputes over payment
amounts, benefit eligibility, under-payments and over-
payments of benefits, and various offsets to benefits
such as from receiving workers’ compensation
payments. This experience has allowed Mr. Galea to
understand the inner workings of the Social Security
process and more effectively navigate cases through
the system.

 Mr. Galea received his bachelor’s degree from
Western Michigan University and graduated cum
laude from the Michigan State University College of
Law (previously known as the Detroit College of

 He has lived in Flint for the past 27 years. While
raising three sons with his late wife, he has acted in
productions with several community theater groups
around Flint, as well as serving on the board of Flint
Community Players, and playing the cello for theater
productions and other occasions.
